So, digital unregulated and decentralized payment solutions, like Bitcoin, are the solution? What about those people who can't make their own financial plans, because they are just too stupid for that? They need government to help them. And those people are in majority.

I know one team that is doing everything the other way around. They don't inverview their new hires, they don't test them, they basically take everybody who wants to join and let them show themselves. Aside from that, they rely on newcomers public profiles, in GitHub, StackOverflow, and so on. Check this out: https://www.yegor256.com/2016/03/01/how-we-interview-program...

You don't change people. You change the rules and they either adapt or find a better place with better and more suitable rulles. This is what freedom is about, and a good management.

I like this blog post about this problem: https://www.yegor256.com/2018/10/09/can-you-control-us.html

These larger paragraphs are so difficult to read... The text seem to be written for Google bot, not for real readers :(

I think I can make a study/research of this size on my own, among a small group of friends :)

I would recommend this blog post about this very subject: https://www.yegor256.com/2017/09/19/what-motivates-me.html (to show the other side of the story, from the PoV of a programmer)

This is the content I like to see at HN most of all. Good article, thanks for sharing.

That's the solution we need, to replace Facebook and Twitter! :) I'm in.

I read it long time ago, good book!

I've heard that knights a few centuries ago were sleeping in chairs. Only slaves were sleeping in horizontal position. I'm not sure whether it's true or not, but this is what a tour guide told me.
