I made yet another trip to the garbage dump the other day and it really highlighted how much we throw it out because of poor quality goods.
I got pretty angry to be quite honest. All the damage to the environment! The labour wasted in installing, attempting repairs, throwing out etc. Even worse if you paid lots of $$ to have the thing installed by a professional.
And don't get me started on new fan-dangled plumbing connections that involve large amounts of rubber adapters that shrink over time and causes untold damage.
One thing I decided is to try to avoid plastic, favouring timber every time (e.g. seating, boxes)
